“SOUNDS OF THE SEASON”
DESCRIPTION:
A festive holiday show which includes favorite seasonal selections, beautiful harmonies, and entertaining tidbits about cultural holiday traditions around the world. This show can be presented as an intimate performance with piano and voice or with accompanying recorded tracks or a live band. This show can also be customized for any size venue or audience.
CONTENT:
Created to please all ages, “Sounds of the Season” includes everything from traditional melodies such as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, to upbeat toe-tappers such as Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, to playful ditties such as Santa Baby, to sacred refrains such as Oh, Holy Night. All of these familiar tunes are interwoven around charming stories of holiday traditions from across the country and around the globe. And who can resist a holiday sing-a-long?!
MEET YOUR ENTERTAINERS:
Laura Sable and Bill Wiemuth have worked as a musical duo for the past 16 years. With Laura’s versatile vocal-stylings and Bill’s skill on piano and vocals, they have delighted audiences for cruise lines, theatres, cabarets, corporate events and much more. They originally created “Sounds of the Season” for The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho and have since adapted the show for other organizations and holiday gatherings.
