DESCRIPTION:
Hold onto your hats! This show is not for the faint of heart. Modern-day Red Hot Mama Laura Sable celebrates the sassy spirit and bawdy bravado of iconic women such as Sophie Tucker, Mae West, and Bette Midler. This PG rated musical evening dips into the wit and humor of the women who are very good when they’re good, but when they’re bad, they’re even better. This show is best when presented as an intimate performance with piano and voice, but it can be customized for any size venue or audience.

CONTENT:
The show features an uproarious collection of saloon-singer style tunes and torch songs as well as zesty comedy zingers. Featured songs include You Gotta See Your Mama Every Night, When You’re Good to Mama from “Chicago,” Last of the Red Hot Mamas, Makin’ Whoopie, and Big Spender. A few men from the audience will cherish the day they become a part of the show and the results are hilarious! Laura’s husband Bill Wiemuth provides the show’s musical accompaniment on the piano.
